Privacy Notice for California Residents

This Privacy Notice for California Residents supplements the information contained in V Beauty Pure’s Privacy Policy and applies solely to external contacts who reside in the State of California (“you” or “Consumer”).  We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA) and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.

Information We Collect and Disclose

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household, or device (“Personal Information”). Personal Information does not include:

We maintain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill our business purpose, as discussed in the Section “Why We Collect Information” in our Privacy Policy.

Sharing Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose.  When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we enter a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract. Please see above for the disclosures we have made in the preceding twelve (12) months for a business purpose.

Your Rights and Choices

The CCPA provides consumers (California residents) with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights.  To make a request under this section, please email support@vbeautypure.com.  We take the privacy of your personal information seriously and want to ensure that we provide only you or your authorized agent with your personal information. Applicable law also requires that we verify the identity of each person who makes a request to know what personal information we have about you or to delete the personal information we have about you.  If you are submitting a request on behalf of another person, we require a valid power of attorney or other documentation demonstrating your authority to submit this request. This can be a letter or other documentation signed by the California resident authorizing you to submit this request.

“Shine the Light”
California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Site that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

Financial Incentive Disclaimer

We may offer users the opportunity to participate in contests, surveys, rebate programs, or other promotions that may be considered a financial incentive under the CCPA. Our collection of your personal information allows us to operate these financial incentives.  The types of information we collect when you voluntarily participate in a financial incentive is generally similar to the types of information we collect from those who do not choose to participate.  For purposes of applicable law, we reasonably estimate the value of a participant’s personal information to the Company to be reasonably related to the value of the offered prize or promotion, which may vary depending on the type of financial incentive we are offering.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy notice, we will post the updated notice on the Site and update the notice’s effective date.
